This is the EB-2 advanced-degree category — job-offer cases (E21) and national-interest waivers combined. USCIS does not publish NIW denials separately, so there is no NIW-only rate; NIW is 50% of these approvals here.
These receipt years are essentially fully adjudicated — a settled rate. Recent filings, still being decided, look different (below).

Nationally — across all countries and NIW only — the most recent quarter (FY2026Q2) approved 48.1% of the NIW petitions it decided, with roughly 89,215 still pending — an implied wait near 7.3 years. This is a NIW-specific, adjudication-quarter figure; it is not this country’s rate, and the two measure different things.
